The interior of the Whisky has a
simple feel. Once through the front door, the
Whisky opens up to one large room with a balcony
above. The walls are very simple and dark, but the
room does the job with lots of viewing room and a
stage large enough for the bands to move. Alcohol
is served both on the floor and on the balcony.
The Whisky is also a great place to play because
it's one of the only all ages full bar venues in
town offering quality music. Part factory, part
fantasyland, this quasi-historic club remains a
crucial spot for touring acts and local aspirants.
The live music ranges from retro to jazz so
everyone can find something to groove to. The
Whisky a Go-Go is on the famous Sunset Strip, at
the corner of Sunset and Clark St. on the
northwest side. San Vicente Blvd. is the largest
nearby cross street.
