the Opium Den, which is kind of the Viper Room's
evil twin brother, is Zeke’s Backyard on
Mondays. Zeke hosts the local specialty show on
L.A.’s perennial rock radio station KROQ. He
personally books the bands that play Monday
nights, and the place is usually crowded because
the low $5 cover charge comes with a free drink
ticket. The very best local bands regularly vie
