The Mayan Theatre is located in down
town Los Angeles and has established itself as a long
time standing venue for great nightlife and concert
events since 1927. The inner walls and facade of the
building are covered with replica stone carvings of
Aztec temples and provide an authentic Indian feel to
its atmosphere. This 1,500 person capacity club is
complete with: (1.) Main Ballroom- 3 full bars, two
large dance floors, large screen video displays, stage,
etc. (2.) Mezzanine - 1 bar, dance floor playing
different music, superior sound system. (3.) Basement -
Dance floor playing separate music, performance dressing
rooms, bar, etc. (4.) Balcony - Overlooks the main
ballroom with outdoor exits and stadium seating. (5.)
and outdoor patios and restrooms located all over. The
Mayan serves all music genres and showcases different
events each night of the week.
