A unique, tiki-funk lounge open
seven days a week from 9 pm to 2 am hosting a
variety of acts including live blues, surf, ska,
soul, lounge, jazz, funk and hip-hop. DJs spin
nightly at the Lava Lounge, and the entertainment
starts at 10pm. Sit back in your red vinyl booth,
listen to the tunes and stare dreamily at lazy
bubbles rising endlessly in the glass behind the
bar. Cover is between $2 and $5.
The Lava Lounge is buried inside a
strip mall on La Brea Ave. two blocks south of
Hollywood Blvd. 2- 4 $
